Hello everyone! I am in process of redesigning my business and website while spending most of my moments with my sweet and lively toddler. This is quite the life change for me and not what I expected when I became a mama, so I’m just trying to go with the flow, love every moment, and keep you all posted. This is a gentle yoga practice for all bodies. Please only practice what feels good and safe to your body. I apologize for the really poor sound quality. This is my first full-length yoga video. 😉

Hey Anna Maria Island yogis, I’ve decided to take a break from my Beach Yoga class. I thought I’d be able to teach all year, but life happens, and I need to be with my little one for now. Inhale:  I am breathing in
Exhale:  I am breathing out

This may sound crazy, if you’ve never tried meditation, but try to focus on your breath for 15 minutes each day. Or start with 5 minutes, if 15 feels too long. Each time you notice your mind has wandered away, gently call it back to the breath. This is a practice. It can be hard at first, but it’s so worth it to learn to sit with discomfort. It will bring calm, clarity, intuition, and peace to your day and life.

Arm Balance and Inversion Flow at Island Yoga Space

 Sunday, April 6, 3 – 5 pm

Join Rachel for a playful, adventurous yoga workshop at Island Yoga Space! We will practice techniques for letting go of fear and safely transferring weight to the upper body during traditional arm balances and inversions. This will be a full body flow yoga practice, and we will focus on using the core to support our balance as we prepare for lift off. Participants should be injury free and familiar with basic yoga postures.

Pre-registration is required.

A Restorative Yoga Workshop at Island Yoga Space

Sunday, March 23, 3 – 5 pm

Inside, each of us has a treasure of unlimited creativity, joy, and deep peace. Join Rachel for a workshop filled with deep stretching, meditative breath work, and relaxation techniques. We will work gently into areas of tension and release them using positive visualizations and deep breathing. We will focus on cultivating peace in the mind and body through awareness, gratitude, and compassion.
