Rachel Kisellus ⭐ Certified Yoga Teacher
Currently, I am a stay-at-home mama trying to keep up with my personal yoga practice and offering limited private yoga instruction. I began practicing in 2002 to cope with the stress of college, and when I moved to Anna Maria Island in 2012, I was inspired to follow my heart and become a yoga teacher. I love teaching many different styles of yoga, especially Beach Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Yoga, and Restorative Yoga, as well as meditation and mindfulness techniques. Practicing out in nature is incredibly grounding, so I prefer to practice and teach outside as much as possible. As a guide, I try to create space for you to experience yourself more objectively, love and accept what you find inside, and let go of tension and habits that are no longer serving you.
I practice yoga and meditation daily. I completed my 500-hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 2014, studying the tradition of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Sharon Denton, Ally Ford, Greg Nardi, and Jessica Lynne Trese. My 200-hour Certification was extensive, covering a wide variety of yogic styles and traditions through Heartwood Yoga. I am WPA certified as a Stand Up Paddle Guide and SUP Yoga Instructor. I also hold teaching certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. I am registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 500 level.
